Launched with Sohar Port & Freezone, Sohar Works aims to develop a strong Omani workforce for the port’s tenant companies. Within the programme, Oman Sail’s learning and development division, Zimam, provides the recruited graduates with key personal and behavioural competencies based on experiential learning geared to enhance their soft skills. The course will be complemented by technical training at the International Maritime College Oman and 40 weeks of on-the-job training at the tenant companies.
